Chanukah Wonderland at the Orchard Mall

Chanukah Wonderland is a virtual Chanukah experience for children, teens and adults. The centerpiece of the Wonderland is the unique learning tool known as the Olive Press Project, an interactive, hands-on exhibit. Participants actually see how olive oil was extracted from raw olives during the Temple period. Continuous Chanukah sights, sounds and smells will entice you to come back again and again. You can stuff and eat sufganiot, decorate a wooden dreidel, make a Chanukah sun catcher, or participate with your friends in a Chanukah game show. Leave your toddlers in our Chanukah Legomania (supervision on us), and have them design their own lego menorahs while you shmooze with other parents over coffee and donuts. Wander over to the entertainment of the day – magic shows, puppets, Jewish music.
Public Giant Menorah Lighting at the Orchard Mall

Enjoy an all-new Chanukah Lights Musical, starring the amazingly talented children of the Bais Chabad Drama Club. Warm your body and soul with the festive tunes and hot soups, latkes, donuts and cider. Music by Kidz Klez Band of Michigan and their twenty-piece band. Enjoy an array of crafts for the kids and the magnificent lighting ceremony of a 12-ft Menorah.
