Jake Daniels to Play Basketball at Marygrove

The Marygrove College men's basketball team on Thursday received a commitment from 2012 West Bloomfield High School graduate Jake Daniels.
Daniels, a 6'3" forward, adds a gritty, athletic presence to the Mustangs roster, according to head basketball coach Dave Sichterman. Before the 2012 season, Daniels attended Waterford Kettering High School where he played varsity for two seasons. According to the college, Daniels played for the local Legion AAU team in 2011, and was also a key part of an AAU State Championship squad a few years prior to that.
Sichterman on Daniels: Jake brings plenty of athleticism and a great work ethic to our team. He has a high basketball IQ which will help ease his transition from the high school to college level. Jake, like the rest of our 2012 commits, will be a vital piece to our puzzle as we move forward into the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) this season. I look forward to coaching Jake and the rest of the team this season.
