Just Peachy Offers Donations to Friendship Circle

What could be better than frozen yogurt topped with candy or fresh fruit?  How about a frozen yogurt shop that donates a portion of all its sales to a non-profit that helps some pretty special area children?

On Friday, August 31 and Saturday, September 1, Just Peachy, located at 4312 Orchard Lake Rd., in West Bloomfield, will donate a portion of their total sales to Team Zorn Boyz and Team Lovy, in their fundraising efforts for the Friendship Circle.

“The Friendship Circle does a lot of great work for children with special needs so when Julie Zorn contacted me and asked if I could help her and a friend with their fundraising efforts in the annual Walk4Friendship, I was more than happy to help,” said Melissa Morris, owner of Just Peachy. “We’re a new business and the community has been so incredibly supportive that we felt this would be a tremendous opportunity to give back.”

The custard and yogurt at Just Peachy are Kosher and gluten free and all products are  self-serve and priced by weight. Customers can choose from as many as 14 flavors and more than 35 different toppings.

In addition to donating a portion of their total sales, Just Peachy is asking their customers to round up their sale and donate that extra to the Friendship Circle.

“If your bill comes to $5 and you pay with a $20, for example, and want to make a donation, Just Peachy will donate your change to our walk team which goes directly to the Friendship Circle,” said Zorn, a Farmington Hills resident and mother of two children with autism both of whom participate in numerous Friendship Circle programs.

Just Peachy will be open on Friday and Saturday from 11 to 11 p.m.  To learn more about the Just Peachy fundraiser, call the store at (248) 481-3522.
