Marilyn Treuter was honored in May 2008 for her 28 years of volunteer service at Roosevelt Elementary School in Keego Harbor. Treuter passed away Friday, June 1, at age 83.

Marilyn will be remembered for her 28 years of volunteer service at Roosevelt Elementary School, loving life around the lakes, and spending time with her family and her lifelong friends.
"The thing I will miss the most is laughing with her," said longtime Keego Harbor resident Bill Bertakis in memory of Treuter.
A memorial service is scheduled for 11 a.m. on Tuesday, June 5, at The Pixley Funeral Home Godhardt-Tomlinson Chapel in Keego Harbor. The family will welcome friends Monday from 4–8 p.m.
Memorials are suggested to Roosevelt Elementary School.
