West Bloomfield Parks and Recreation is canceling Winter Fest, which was scheduled at Marshbank Park this Saturday, Feb. 2.  “We waited until Tuesday,” said event coordinator, Nancy Keener, “but with no snow and the mild weather we’ve had this week, we need to cancel.”

 As of Wednesday morning, there is no snow at Marshbank Park. Many of the events planned for the Winter Fest afternoon requires 6 to 8 inches of snow on the ground. 

“We are sorry that this is the second year we have had to cancel this event,” Keener added. “The weather has just not cooperated with us.”
