The Road Commission for Oakland County (RCOC) expects to close Walnut Lake Road to through traffic between Middlebelt and Orchard Lake roads in West Bloomfield Township from April 16-20 to replace a failing drainage culvert that crosses under the road.

During the closure, the detour route for through traffic will be Orchard Lake Road to Maple Road to Middlebelt Road and vice versa.

During the closure, traffic accessing properties within this section of Walnut Lake Road will be able to use the road, but the road will be completely closed at the culvert location which is just west of Middlebelt Road.
