West Bloomfield residents can attend an Education Task Force meeting Monday to discuss proposed state cuts to school funding.

State Rep. Lisa Brown will visit Lone Pine Elementary from 4-6 p.m. with Reps. Ellen Cogen Lipton (D-Huntington Woods), and Jim Ananich (D-Flint).

At the event, they will discuss how Gov. Rick Snyder's budget proposal will affect Michigan's schools, children and economy, as well as answer questions from members of the community. All residents are highly encouraged to attend to share their thoughts and have their questions answered.
