Walled Lake Western performing arts presents: Godspell
Walled Lake Western High School performing arts presents Godspell, Jan. 31 and Feb. 1-2 at Walled Lake Western High School. The show starts at 7:30 p.m. each night and tickets are $10. Tickets will be available starting Jan. 15 at www.wlwmusical.com, tickets will also be sold at the door before each show.
Godspell is an ensemble cast of 22 students. The students in lead roles include Noah Miller as Jesus and Carter Jones as John the Baptist and Judas.
Godspell is an extraordinary tale of people being drawn together and finding hope through the lessons of the parables. Lessons such as being kind to your neighbor, turning the other cheek, and learning that it is not our place to judge others. These are lessons that are important for people of any belief system, not just those with a Christian background.
Kim Paullin, Director of Drama at Walled Lake Western High School, says: “I have grown up with this musical, and I just love the lessons it teaches. Also, the music by Stephen Schwartz is wonderful.”
