Man Involved in Bar Fight Undresses in Jail, Police Say

The following information was provided by the West Bloomfield Township Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

West Bloomfield Township Police Department reports from Jan. 2-9 included 57 alarms, 14 crashes and 16 arrests. Among the highlights:

Bar fight lands West Bloomfield resident behind bars

A fight at a bar eventually resulted in a West Bloomfield resident being charged with indecent exposure and assault, according to West Bloomfield Police Lt. Tim Diamond.

Diamond said Christopher Alan Geisey, 28, was at Sylvan Lanes, on Orchard Lake Road in Sylvan Lake on Saturday night and had too much to drink. Police from West Bloomfield, Sylvan Lake, Keego Harbor and Orchard Lake Police Departments were needed when Geisey allegedly began a verbal altercation and threw a punch at a 35-year-old Keego Harbor man around 2:20 a.m., Diamond added.

Geisey was arrested and later charged by West Bloomfield Police with assault and battery as well as public intoxication, Diamond said.

"Later that night in his cell, he became irrational and combative, so he removed all of his clothes," Diamond said.

Geisey was also charged with indecent exposure. He was then arraigned and released on bond, Diamond said. He is scheduled to be in court Jan. 25.

Wallets stolen from unlocked cars

Residents of a home on the 7300 block of Whittingham Way woke up Jan. 3 to find that their wallets had been taken from the glove boxes of their two cars, Diamond said.

Diamond said a Mercedes and a Honda had been parked overnight in the driveway and left unlocked. The two wallets, worth a combined $50, were taken after rummaging through the couple's belongings, Diamond said.

Police are investigating, but have no suspects.
