Monday morning may have brought blue skies and cooler temperatures, but it comes at a price: skyrocketing gas prices.

According to the AAA, the average price for a gallon of gas in Metro Detroit is $4.05 this morning, up more than a quarter from last week's price, $3.69.

Some of the lowest gas prices in and around southeastern Michigan can be found in Dearborn, at $3.69 and in Flint, at $3.83.
