In the mood for a more old-fashioned way to celebrate the holiday season? Friday night members from the West Bloomfield community came out to Holy Spirit Lutheran Church to sing Christmas carols.
This was the second year in a row that the church hosted a carolers, which brought about 50 in for the fun.
Attendees sat in pews, each with their own sing-along packet so everyone would have the words to every song. The First Noel and Here We Come A-Caroling were among the holiday-spirited tunes that attendees sang Friday.
"Anyone who comes can participate," Ann Elliott, administrative assistant for Holy Spirit Lutheran Church, said. "It’s a community sing-along; a chance to get together and sing Christmas carols."
