Video: Library Picks Include 'Monday Mornings,' 'Expats'
What was the last good book you've read, West Bloomfield?
The West Bloomfield Township Public Library will come back from Easter ready to celebrate National Library Week on Monday, said librarian Dana Kratt.
The library will offer opportunities for residents to use e-readers before they're purchased, Kratt said. She recommended a number of popular fiction and nonfiction titles at the library from the month of March.
Visit the Patch Events calendar for a good look at library events.
Don't forget: both the Main Library and the Westacres branch will be closed Sunday in observance of the Easter holiday. Both libraries will reopen Monday, April 9 at 9 a.m.
Dana's recommendations:
- The Expats: A Novel by Chris Pavone (Crown, 2012)
- Monday Mornings: A Novel by Sanjay Gupta (Grand Central Publishing, 2012)
- The Power of Habit: Why We Do What We Do in Life and Business by Charles Duhigg (Random House, 2012)
