Activities or key endorsements you'd like to mention?
I was invited to speak at Harvard Law School in March of 2010 as part of a panel that reached out to the younger generation, mentoring programs and students attending Harvard. I have also been asked to speak as a key note speaker at collage graduations as well as master of ceremony for many different events. Outside of my professional career, I dedicate much of my time to volunteering and humanitarian work. I currently reside on the executive committee board for the Adopt-a-Refugee Family.
Why are you running for Trustee?
I am running for West Bloomfield Township Trustee to sit amongst other great leaders and listen to the resident’s needs so I can make the best non-biased decisions that will not jeopardize my township. I plan on protecting and always recognizing the men and women that help keep us safe from harm’s way by putting the Police and Fire department as a top priority.
I also plan on working with the other Trustees that become elected along with other officials to make sure the citizens are always protected from natural disasters by having a plan set in place and assigning the right personnel.
I always want my wife and child to be protected along with every other citizen in West Bloomfield. I would be proud and honored to serve such great people that reside in a wonderful Township called West Bloomfield!
What do you think are the biggest issues facing the township? How would you handle them?
I believe the biggest issues in West Bloomfield township currently are the lack of professional respect amongst the trustees and the finger pointing that drives our township in the wrong direction. We need to move forward and create progress for our residents and take good care of the people that protect us from harm and danger. We need to stop using our energy in a negative way but instead, create synergy with each other that will make all of us great at the end. I plan on creating that synergy in West Bloomfield.
