The Greater West Bloomfield Chamber of Commerce kicked off what it hopes will be a year of growth with the swearing-in of a new president and board members at the newly-redesigned Heartland-Diversified Rehabilitation Services Friday morning.

Kelly Taylor, the property manager of Orchard Mall, was sworn in by 48th District Court Judge Kimberly Small as President at the ceremony, while WJBK-DT, FOX 2 news personality and West Bloomfield resident Roop Raj offered tips for small business owners to receive publicity from television media outlets.

Outgoing President Steven Tapper, who served for one year, spoke in support of the Chamber's mission: "We must stay strong, we must stay focused and we must stay true to the mission of this Chamber," Tapper said.
