Redcoat Tavern, The Lark Win Honors from HOUR Detroit
Both West Bloomfield restaurants given three awards each in the local magazine's Best Of 2012 list. Several other businesses with local ties were honored as well.

The verdict is out, and readers of HOUR Detroit have named their picks for the 2012 Best of Detroit.
On the list? Multiple places with West Bloomfield ties, including the The Lark, which took top honors in the categories of Best French, Restaurant Ambience, and Attentive Service.
Meanwhile, Redcoat Tavern took top honors as the Best Place for Late-Night Dining (suburb), Best Burger (suburb), and Best French Fries (independent).
Several other establishments with local connections also took home top honors, too:
- Best Locally-Owned Bakery: Just Baked
- Best Bagels: New York Bagel Co.
- Best Fish and Chips: The Lodge Bar and Grill (Keego Harbor)
