Two motorists were injured, including one seriously, in this rollover crash on Orchard Lake and Powers roads Sunday, police said.

A West Bloomfield man was seriously injured and another motorist was hurt in a roll-over crash on Orchard Lake Road in West Bloomfield Sunday morning, police said.

Dispatchers received a call about a two-vehicle crash on Orchard Lake near Powers road at 10:39 a.m., Lt. Tim Diamond of the West Bloomfeld Police Department said. Upon arrival, the officers found one car on it's roof with the driver trapped inside. The 35-year-old West Bloomfield man was removed by paramedics and transported to Beaumont Hospital for treatment. Further details about his condition were unavailable Monday afternoon, Diamond said.

The other driver, a 22-year-old Farmington Hills resident, suffered injuries but refused transport to a local hospital, according to reports.

Diamond said the investigation showed the West Bloomfield man was headed northbound on Orchard Lake and turned left in front of the other car, which was headed south. The West Bloomfield man was cited for failing to yield, Diamond added.
