Not entirely out of place in the "lakes township" of Oakland County, beach-themed national chain seafood restaurant Joe's Crab Shack used to serve West Bloomfield residents in the heart of the business district, just east of Orchard Lake Road on Maple Road. Property developers Ari-El Enterprises say the site recently used to see over 28,000 cars pass by every day on Maple, yet, plans to turn the 8,100 square-foot building into a mix of retail and office uses have fallen apart in recent years.

Patch wants to know: What's your vision for this building?

You don't need to be a commercial developer or urban planner — or have money to invest in a business project — to have the next great idea. We want to hear about it.

The mall out on m59 , can't remember the name, is pet friendly and all people go there with the dogs to walk and can eat there as well. Frankenmuth had weekend for dogs and people came from all over including Canada and everything was dog friendly including restaurants with tables outside. Brought in so much business and people to the area that weekend
