Good morning, West Bloomfield!

Last week, we met with Pastor Bill Matlack at Holy Spirit Lutheran Church. Holy Spirit has been in the community 41 years, and "Pastor Bill" helped explained the second-annual Christmas carol sing-along which was held last Friday. Going to a service there on Christmas Eve (services held at 5 p.m. and 11 p.m. that day  with special music and candlelight), it seems, is a sure-fire way to get into the Christmas spirit this season.

The National Weather Service calls for the following Monday forecast:

Day: Sunny, with a high near 39 degrees. Southwest wind around 6 mph.

Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 26 degrees. West southwest wind between 5-7 mph.
