West Bloomfield Township Police Department reports from Nov. 27-Dec. 3 included 73 alarms, 37 crashes and four arrests. Among the highlights:

Police investigating break-in at Sprint store

Police have surveillance footage and are investigating a break-in and theft from the Sprint store at 6053 Haggerty Road, south of Maple.

Lt. Tim Diamond said that at about 6:40 a.m. Dec. 1, police responded to an alarm at the store and found the front door had likely been pried open. Among items that owners of the store reported missing are $400 missing cash and phones, including four Apple iPhones and other models, totaling over $4,500.

Police have no suspects, Diamond added.

Unknown suspect makes three fraudulent purchases

A West Bloomfield resident told police that their identity may have been stolen; as a bank told them that their debit card had been used to make purchases over $800 in their name without their permission.

Diamond said that three purchases were made Nov. 19 at an unknown Meijer store location, but the resident had not been informed until Nov. 28. Police have no suspects.

Trailer broken into, power tools stolen

Police are investigating a break-in and theft from a residence on the 7300 block of Briarcliff Knoll.

Diamond said that the resident of that home reported that sometime overnight between Nov. 28-29 that $2,000 worth of power tools had been stolen from a locked trailer on the property. Reporting officers found a lock which had been cut off at the scene of the crime. Police have no suspects.
