Why go: Noa, Israel’s leading international concert and recording artist joins forces with special guest Mira Awad who is an Arab/Israeli singer, songwriter and actress at the JCC Stephen Gottlieb Music Festival honoring Barbara and Douglas Bloom. Jazz quartet performance to benefit AAU team
Where: Farmington Civic Theater, 33332 Grand River Ave., Farmington
When: 3 p.m. Saturday
Why go: The Farmington Civic Theater is hosting a jazz concert to benefit the Michigan Storm AAU Basketball team. The travel team is comprised of young women in grades 9, 10 and 11 from the greater Farmington area and surrounding communities. The Paul Dozier Quartet will perform. The Farmington Hills-based Paul Dozier Quartet are performing to bring their play a lively jazz mix of smooth, fusion, straight ahead and Latin on what should be a sunny Saturday. New Zimriyah performs at Music Festival
Where: Jewish Community Center, 6600 W Maple Rd., West Bloomfield
When: 2:30 p.m. Sunday
Why go: As part of the JCC Stephen Gottlieb Music Festival, New Zimriyah will perform this afternoon. New Zimriyah features the voices of more than 120 children from Jewish religious schools, day schools and high schools throughout the state. Celebrate Social Work Month at Henry Ford
Where: Henry Ford West Bloomfield Hospital, 6777 W. Maple Rd., West Bloomfield
When: 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Friday
Why go: March is National Social Work Month and in celebration of the work social workers provide to the Henry Ford Health System and throughout the West Bloomfield community, Henry Ford West Bloomfield Hospital is hosting its second annual fair on the hospital’s "Main Street."

Play family games, help Roosevelt Elementary
Where: Roosevelt Elementary School, 2065 Cass Lake Rd., Keego Harbor
When: 5:30 p.m. Friday
Why go: The annual Roosevelt Elementary School winter carnival will host carnival style games, a bounce house, indoor laser tag, facepainting, Science Alive, food, a Silent Basket Auction, a coffee can raffle and a prize room and more. It's a fun event which draws in families from all over to celebrate fun with children.
