Bloomfield’s Community is Coming Together!

Many of us are anxiously waiting for Tuesday, May 8th so we can cast our ‘Yes’ vote in person.

But this journey was always about more than just a ‘Yes’ vote.  One Bloomfield United started before there was a May ballot, before the failed recall by the opposition, even before the board decided to unify the high schools.

Because One Bloomfield United stands for exactly what the name says: one Bloomfield, united.  This journey has been about uniting the community. Our goal is to work with the school district so they make reasonable and sensible decisions that affect our schools.  It’s been about encouraging the community to participate in the critiquing and decision-making process because always saying ‘no’ is not a
solution.

The number of individuals and businesses supporting this process and, ultimately, the bond proposal and renovation plan, is unprecedented.  Please take a minute to read both the personal and business endorsements on the OBU website, www.onebloomfieldunited.com.  Also, take a minute to support the businesses
that are taking a positive stand for our communities’ long term health and
prosperity.

Please remember to vote Yes on Tuesday.

Thanks for being there and helping come up with a reasonable compromise. Part New and Part renovated buiding at a much less than the other proposed plans.

By passing this bond the community saves money by not throwing good operational money at bad buildings.

I am convinced the No camp is like the baby on the capital one commercial just keep saying no. No compromise - They got everything they asked for in this new plan but all I see is the same no New Tax signs the same No NO signs from last year.
