Kindergarten through fifth graders can practice reading skills by reading to a friendly canine. Trainers with their certified therapy dogs will be on hand in the Youth Services Activity Center so that children can practice being an independent reader while reading to a trained, well-behaved canine friend.

The West Bloomfield Township Public Library was awarded the 2010 National Medal for Museum and Library Service, the nation’s highest honor for museums and libraries. They are governed by an elected six-member Board of Trustees and the current President of the board is Ken Macon.
