BUC's SoundBites concert series welcomes well-known Hindustani Classical Music vocalist Geetha Raghu

Singing since the age of four, Geetha Raghu has performed in Mumbai, India and the U.S. and is the founder of the SurMandir Academy of Music in West Bloomfield. Accompanying Geetha are Hemant Babtiwale (tabla) and Sanjay Deshpande (harmonium). Geetha’s young but senior students Maithelee Sathe and Gauri Oak provide tanpura and vocal support.

Fabulous acoustics make Birmingham Unitarian Church an ideal setting for this concert, which is followed by desserts, wine, and conversation with the performers. Suggested donation is $20. To reserve seats, please call 248.647.2380.
