BENEFIT for Brother Al Mascia and the less fortunate people he serves.
In addition to spreading Franciscan joy and spirituality as an itinerant friar minstrel, Brother Al continues to help grow and develop the Song and Spirit Institute for Peace. This award-winningecumenical and inter religious project provides southeast Michigan (and beyond) with the means and opportunity to promote peace and reconciliation at the very grassroots level through the arts, music, study, organic gardening and community service.
Having founded the critically acclaimed andinnovative Bicycle Cart ministry to serve the poor and homeless of downtown Detroit, Brother Al Mascia, OFM is now extending Franciscan hospitality beyond the inner-city to people in the Detroit tri-county region.

More About Bachelor's One
Bachelor's One is a sports bar and grill restaurant. It provides a casual dining environment whether it is with family, friends or a date. It also has a bar with the television screen tuned to sports. Live music is played Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, including acoustic, blues, rock n' roll, country and more. Items on its menu include cheese sticks, onion rings, soups and salads, sandwiches and burgers. Bachelor's One got new management in 2012.
