Camp Out and More This Week in West Bloomfield

This week also brings a co-parenting support event and Affordable Health Care Act information.

Registration closes Wednesday for your only chance to pitch a tent in a West Bloomfield Township park. 

Here are details about the Great West Bloomfield Camp Out and more events happening this week:

1. Co-Parenting Support Group

A presentation on communicating with an uncooperative co-parent and family law symposium happen Monday, 6 p.m., at the MyRealty Select building, 7285 Orchard Lake, West Bloomfield. Learn more at dadsandmomsofmichigan.org.

2. "Funny Girl"

3. Affordable Health Care Act Information

Oakland County Commissioner Marcia Gershenson hosts this Wednesday, 7 p.m., event at Town Hall, which will provide information about enrolling in the new health care markets. 

4. Greater West Bloomfield Leadership Luncheon

Nancy  Schlichting, CEO of Henry Ford Health System will keynote this Thursday, 12 p.m., event at the Henry Ford West bloomfield Hospital Atrium. Tickets are $45 members, $50 non-members; call 248-626-3636 or visit westbloomfieldchamber.com for more information and to register. 

5. The Great West Bloomfield Camp Out

Bring your tent and sleeping bag to Marshbank Park on Friday, 5 p.m., for this family-friendly event. Registration closes Wednesday at 4 p.m. The fun includes activities, s'mores, camp out dinner and breakfast. Register at westbloomfieldparks.org or call 248-451-1900.
