West Bloomfield Business Collects Winter Gear for Children

Northwest Podiatry in West Bloomfield is collecting donations of winter accessories to support families in the Webster Elementary School community.

“In November, we were informed of the amount of children at Webster that do not have the means to purchase even basic items to keep them warm this winter,” Dr. Lee Hoffman said. “Our team decided that to help and we invite the community to join us.”

New and gently used hats, gloves and scarves, appropriate for children of all ages, will be collected through Jan. 31, 2014.  The office at 5755 W. Maple Rd. in West Bloomfield is open Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
