Is it Really AD/HD? Something Else? or Both?

John McCaskill, Ph.D. is one of 15 speakers who will be presenting at the conference.   His topic is "Evaluation, Differential Diagnosis, and Treatment of Complicated AD/HD in Children and Adolescents: Is it Really AD/HD? Something Else? or Both?"

There are many reasons why children, adolescents, and adults might experience difficulties with concentration/attention and associated academic, social-emotional, or behavioral difficulties.  AD/HD is only one of the sources and other causes for the difficulties require very different treatments and interventions. Dr. McCaskill will discuss factors which serve to distinguish AD/HD from these other conditions, specific/systematic procedures for "disentangling the variables" and interpreting findings to insure accurately diagnosis, and treatment plans.
