Parenting the Child with AD/HD and Autism Spectrum Disorders
The Michael Golds Memorial AD/HD Conference is coming to the OCC - Oakland Ridge Campus in Farmington Hills on Friday September 27.
Suzi Naguib, Psy.D is one of 15 speakers who will be presenting at the conference. Her topic is "Parenting the Child with AD/HD and Autism Spectrum Disorders"
Dr. Naguib will review the DSM-V diagnostic criteria for Autism Spectrum Disorders as well as symptom overlap with AD/HD. Difficulties frequently encountered by children and their families will be discussed, and appropriate strategies will be presented.

Bio: Suzi is a licensed psychologist and clinical director of the Sunfield Center in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Prior to founding Sunfield Center, Dr.Naguib worked as a staff psychologist at the University of Michigan Autism and Communication Disorders Center for several years. Dr. Naguib completed her postdoctoral training in AD/HD and Behavior Disorders Services at the New York University (NYU) Child Study Center where she remained for a period of five years. She is a member of the American Psychological Association, the Michigan Psychological Association and the Behavior Analysis Association of Michigan. She is fluent in Portuguese and proficient in Spanish and Arabic.
Social Workers will earn 5 CEU's.
