Technology for Students to Enhance Their Success in College

The Michael Golds Memorial AD/HD Conference is coming to the OCC - Oakland Ridge Campus in Farmington Hills on Friday September 27.

Anthony Thomas, M.A., LLPC & Mary Jo Schuster M.A.,LPC are two of 15 speakers addressing topics related to AD/HD.  They will be addressing "Technology for Students to Enhance Their Success in College."

Anthony Thomas and Mary Jo Schuster will facilitate a panel of current and former college students who will demonstrate various computer, tablet and smart phone based  applications and tools that they use to enhance their learning, time management, organizational skills and ultimately their success in college.

Bio:  Mr. Thomas has been a  Counselor at Oakland Community College for over six years and he is also the Coordinator of Project BOLD, on the Orchard Ridge Campus of OCC. In addition to working at OCC, Mr. Thomas has extensive experience working with adolescents and adults in a variety of settings.

Ms. Schuster has over twenty years of experience working with college students who learn differently.

Social Workers will earn 5 CEU's.

Registration - Registration fees $35 for students and $65 for others (lunch is included).
