Whether you're shooting photos to share with your friends on Facebook or because it's your full-time career, Patch wants to help you showcase your work to our readers.
For amateur photographers, it's a great opportunity to show off your work to a wider group of people.
For professional photographers, it's a chance to show people the quality of your work in hopes they'll remember you the next time they're in need of a photographer.
With every post you make, you're welcome to include a description of who you are, a link to your website and/or Facebook page and your contact information. It's a great online portfolio that can be accessed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. And if you already have a similar portfolio on your own site, it's as simple as replicating your existing posts onto Patch to broaden your reach.
To get started, click "Blogs" in the main navigation bar above. Then, in
the upper left-hand corner, click the "Start your own Blog"
icon. You'll then be asked three things: to name your blog, to write a
short description of the blog and to upload a thumbnail to appear on the
account. Once you hit the "Create your blog" button, you'll be on your
way to making your first blog post. It's that simple!
