The communities of Keego Harbor, Orchard Lake, Sylvan Lake and West Bloomfield have been celebrating Michigan Week together since 1972.
Although the name is Michigan Week, the entire month of May offers events and opportunities for all to enjoy in Michigan. With so many spectacular places and wonderful people in our own neighborhoods, this year Greater West Bloomfield is celebrating the community's “Magical Wonders”.
Annual awards include the Hidden Treasures Honor Roll, which offers a unique opportunity for recognizing youth or youth advocates. Also, every Greater West Bloomfield organization in the public, private or independent sectors is invited to share a special appreciation for one person whose volunteerism and community service have made an invaluable contribution towards the betterment of our larger community and/or strengthened a non‐political initiative.
