June 2nd is National Trail Day and what better way to celebrate than to hit the trail! Join the WestBloomfield Parks and Recreation naturalist, along with the ITC Walk WB group, at the West Bloomfield Woods Nature Preserve, 4655 Arrowhead Road, for a guided walk along the scenic and historic rail-to-trail. Learn how the trail came to be, see nine Greater West Bloomfield Historical Society markers along the way, engage in some bird watching or just enjoy the scenery. You’ll be able to step off the trail to the Orchard Lake Museum, 3951 Orchard Lake Road, for refreshments. No charge for this guided walk, but West Bloomfield Parks & Recreation registration (Code# 228500-1A) is required at 268.451.1900 or WestBloomfieldParks.org.
