Fundraisers Scheduled for Keego Family Following Car Crash

Several area restaurants pledge to donate after crash renders home uninhabitable.

If you read the story of Rick and Kim Vestuto of Keego Harbor earlier this month and asked, "What can I do to help?", you're in luck.

Several area restaurants pledged to help the family, after a man drove a car completely through their home Jan. 3, by donating a portion of your bill on a scheduled date.

The car drove through a front yard at a high rate of speed and launched completely through the home, crashing into a tree in another side yard, West Bloomfield Fire Marshal Pat Riney said. Riney added that the crash rendered the Vestuto family's home uninhabitable.
