Good morning, West Bloomfield! We caught up with Lawrence D. Hadley at in Farmington Hills to ask how he felt about current issues and offer today's greeting. Hadley has a strong opinion on the last spring, which has resurfaced as a . Where do you stand on the issue?

The National Weather Service calls for the following Thursday forecast:

Day: A chance of showers before 8 a.m. Areas of fog before 8 a.m. Otherwise, mostly cloudy, with a high near 65 degrees. Calm wind becoming west southwest between 8 and 11 mph. Winds could gust as high as 18 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30 percent.

Night: Showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm. Cloudy, with a low around 49 degrees. Breezy, with a west wind between 15-23 mph, with gusts as high as 29 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70 percent.

Looking for something to do today? After all, school is closed in the West Bloomfield and Walled Lake School Districts for the Rosh Hashana holiday. At 10 a.m., the will host Forest Fitness, a chance to come out to Heritage Park and enjoy a brisk walk on the trails with a naturalist. For those who can make the drive to the Somerset Collection (South) in Troy, the Birmingham Junior League will host a at 6 p.m. Meanwhile, the Blue Triangle Theatre Company will open at The Box Theater in Mt. Clemens at 8 p.m.
