Ice Carving, Sled Racing and More at Winterfest in West Bloomfield

Held at Marshbank Park, the celebration of winter includes family sled races and a snowman building contest.

Ice carving, sled dogs and more will be featured at West Bloomfield Parks and Recreation's third annual Winterfest, held Feb. 8 at Marshbank Park, 2805 Hiller Rd. in West Bloomfield. 

This celebration of winter, held from 1 p.m.-4 p.m., will include:

  • Ice sculptures and demonstrations by Oakland Community College ice carvers
  • Cardboard and plastic sled races 
  • A family snowman building contest
  • Sled dogs and reindeer
  • Frozen bowling
  • Frozen pie eating contest
