It took awhile, but the first major snowstorm to roll through southeastern Michigan this winter didn't 'disappoint' Wednesday, covering the Bloomfield area — and much of Oakland County — with about four inches of snow, according to the National Weather Service.
If you haven't already, it's time to put on those winter boots, start up the snowblower, and get going on those snow sculptures in the yard — if you are so inclined. Don't worry about the forecast, the NWS predicts a high of 32 degrees Thursday with just a 30 percent chance of flurries. Lows will dip into the teens tonight and snow will likely return Friday.
With the kids off for winter break and plenty of new winter toys at their disposal, we want to see how you're enjoying (or coping with) the snow. Whether it's sledding photos, a snowman your children made or you or your family clearing the driveway, we want you to share your snow day on Bloomfield-Bloomfield Hills Patch.
