UPDATED: Storm-Related Closings, Cancellations in West Bloomfield

A weekend winter storm expected to dump as much as a foot of snow on the West Bloomfield area has led to the following emergency declarations, closings and cancellations:

West Bloomfield area schools are closed. Monday closings include West Bloomfield School District, Walled Lake Consolidated Schools and Farmington Public Schools, along with private schools. 

West Bloomfield Town Hall will be closed. The police and fire departments remain open to provide emergency services.  

Both West Bloomfield libraries will remain closed Monday. Updates will be posted at wblib.org. 

SMART buses will operate full service on Monday. Visit smartbus.org for information. 

West Bloomfield Optimist Club has canceled its Tuesday meeting.

The following businesses and organizations have made closing announcements on social media:

• Just Baked on Orchard Lake Road will close Monday and re-open Tuesday. 
• Yoga Shelter classes will begin at 9:45 a.m. Monday
• David B. Hermelin ORT Resource Center has cancelled all Monday classes.
