Weekend Countdown: Franklinstein Frenzy

Today is Thursday and with the weekend so close I know you are getting excited! It's always fun to look ahead at what's going on in and around town for the next weekend. We are going to pick some of the fun events daily to help you plan and count down until it's the weekend again.

Where: Main Street, Downtown Franklin

When: Saturday at 3 p.m.

Why go: Halloween is just about one week away. Here is another chance for everyone in your family to enjoy the holiday as Main Street in Franklin transforms into Franklinstein Frenzy. Come dressed in costume to participate in the parade at 3 p.m. Enter the haunted room at Gorback Fine Photography and receive a complimentary portrait. There will also be a pumpkin decorating contest, face painting, old-fashioned bobbing for apples, and trick-or-treating. While there take a short jaunt to the to enjoy fresh cider and donuts before the apple season disappears.
