I can hear your giant sigh of relief. It's Friday! The weekend is here. All week long we have been counting down the days to help you plan your weekend with options of events to attend. Here's a recap:

Where/When: , Friday at 5 p.m.

Why go: Once a year the High School hosts its annual Homecoming Parade that travels down Green Road. Bring the family for this fun event that past, present and future students, as well as the community at-large, can enjoy. There will be floats and Lakers spirit abounding. Stick around for the football game that follows at a 7 p.m. kick-off time. The halftime show will include more Homecoming festivities and a Marching Band performance.

Where/When: , Farmington, Friday at 6:30 p.m.

Why go: I love all the eerie spooky events that happen this month. On Friday you can travel back in time on a Victorian Ghost Walk to meet the "ghost" of Fred Warner and "members" of the Warner family. You can also learn about superstitions, clothing customs, and mourning traditions inside the mansion. Outside the mansion enjoy scary story telling by a cozy fire pit, a presentation of Spiritual Guides, and for a nominal fee you can choose to have a psychic reading.

Where/When: , Sunday at 3 p.m.

Why go: Anastasia Rizikov is a 12-year-old classic pianist who has been playing since the age of four. She has performed internationally and all over America. The list of awards this young Canadian pianist has won already would astound you. On Sunday she will be performing works from Bach, Beethoven, Scriabin, Liszt, Chopin, Moszkowski, Kapustin, Gershwin and Tchaikovsky. If you love classical music this is a guaranteed sure treat for your ears.

Where/When: , Friday at 6 p.m.

Why go: It's never too early in October to start trick-or-treating. The Church is offering a safe way for all kids in the community to experience and enjoy trunk-or-treating. There will be 15 car trunks filled with candy and goodies. Children will also be able to pick out a pumpkin from the pumpkin patch and enjoy decorating it. The Church has also planned games and snacks. So dress up your little ones and delight in the Halloween spirit!
