What Are the Best Sledding Hills in the Greater West Bloomfield Area?

CBS Detroit posted a list of the best sledding hills in the Metro Detroit area but the hills of the Greater West Bloomfield area were not represented.

Nothing says "snow day" like gathering up the kids and heading to the nearest sledding hill for hours of winter fun.

Farmington's Shiawassee Park was included on CBS Detroit's recent list of the best sledding hills in metro Detroit, with the caveat that the hill is so popular, it can sometimes be too crowded.

Other nearby hills on the list include Northville's Cass Benton Park and Franklin's Beverly Hills Village Park.

What is your favorite place to sled in and around the Greater West Bloomfield area?

West Bloomfield Parks and Recreation maintains two sledding hills in the township. Snow Glutch is on the West Bloomfield Civic Center Complex directly behind Town Hall. Marshbank Park, located at 2805 Hiller Road, WB 48324, also has a sledding hill located directly north of the Marshbank Lodge (the building you see as you enter the park). Restrooms and a warm lobby are located in the lodge which are open regular park hours, 8 am to dusk.
