Fourteenth Annual High School Fashion Show

Students are responsible for modeling, staging, merchandising, publicity, promotion, choreography, hospitality, photography, promotion and music along with other elements of the show. Tickets for the limited seats can be purchased from Fashion Merchandising students or at the door for $10. Proceeds will benefit the Senior Class Prom, American Cancer Society and the West Bloomfield High School Fashion and Video Production Programs.

Local merchants will provide the clothing and accessories. Stores included in this year’s show are; Be Free Apparel, Caruso Caruso, Double Up, Eden Revolution, Francesca’s Collections, Guys N Gals, Laker Landing, Lolly Ella Jewelry, Men’s Wearhouse, Milda Bubly’s Designs, People Skate and Snowboard, Over The Fly, Pure Elements Pilates, Rear Ends, Royal Dutchess, Sway and Too Chic Boutique. Local Salons will also provide hair, make-up, and manicures for the show. Those generous community salons include Lush, Beauty Lounge and Salon Tress.

Several local businesses have donated raffle prizes for the show. Raffle tickets cost $1.00 each and winners will be chosen the night of the show. Donators include Aldo, Bee Waxed, Burger King, Dairy Queen, Domino’s Pizza, Frameable Faces, H&M, Marlaina Stone, Marshalls, McDonalds, Michigan Denture Implant Center, Olga’s Kitchen, Peek-A-Boutique, Pure Elements Pilates, Real Rider Revolution, Red Lobster, Ruby’s Balm, Shell Gas Station, Sonic, Special Effects, Stone’s Jewelry, Sway and Tapper’s Jewelry.

The show is being presented by students enrolled in the Fashion Merchandising classes at West Bloomfield High School taught by Julie Zalla with assistance from Lisa Sallen.
