Music @ Main Presents Al Parrish

 

As part of the Music @ Main concert series, The
Friends of the West Bloomfield Twp Public Library will host Al Parrish for two
shows on Sunday, October 7, 2012. The first performance will begin at 3:00 pm
with doors opening at 2:30pm.  The second
show will begin at 5:00 pm with doors opening at 4:30 pm.  All shows will be held in the Meeting Room of the West Bloomfield Public Library, 4600 Walnut Lake Road in West Bloomfield.  The concerts are free.

Canadian performer Al Parrish has been called “The Voice” by the Canadian
Press.  Al is the former lead singer from
the super group Tanglefoot which toured all over the world.  His beautiful bass voice is not to be
missed.  Al sings a number of songs about
Canadian history and folklore.  He is a
vibrant performer who will keep you on the edge of your seat.

The Friends are
enthusiastic supporters of the West Bloomfield Township Public Library's services,
programs, and materials. For over 60 years, the Friends have fostered growth of
the Library with donations of more than $600,000.
