Michael Smith is a living legend and a two time Tony Award winner. Rolling Stone magazine calls him the best songwriter in the English language. He was the music director for Grapes of Wrath on Broadway.  His song “The Dutchman” is performed by hundreds of folksingers around the world.  He writes funny, spiritual, love, and novelty songs.  It is a rare treat to have him at our library.
