Simsbury Plaza is hosting a block party today. The businesses (Busch's, HoneyBaked Ham, Cookies by Design, Salon Domani, Yoz Yogurt, and Pounds and Inches Away will be offering special discounts and foods.
There will also be a sidewalk chalk coloring contest for kids.
Food will be provided and sold by Heartfelt Harvest, a non-profit organization that gathers donations for local food pantries.
