Glass, Clay, and Metal Art Show Opens Thursday

It's Monday. The weekend just ended. However, it's always fun to look ahead at what's going on in and around town for the next weekend. We are going to pick some of the fun events daily to help you plan and count down until it's the weekend again.

Our pick: Opening Reception for Fusion

Where: , 6600 W. Maple Rd., West Bloomfield

When: 7 p.m. Thursday

Why go: Featuring work from glass, metal and clay artists local to Michigan including students and alumni from the College for Creative Studies in Detroit, the opening reception for Fusion is scheduled on Thursday with a patron preview at 6 p.m. The Gallery is open to visitors for no cost, with open hours on Sunday from 12 noon-4 p.m. Fusion is open to May 2.
