Two Muses Stages Family Friendly Holiday Shows in West Bloomfield

Matinees and evening performances run Dec. 6-22 at Barnes & Noble.

Two Muses Theatre, a nonprofit, professional theatre based in West Bloomfield, will produce two holiday shows in repertory this December.

Family matinees will feature 'Twas The Night Before Christmas. Using the famous poem as a springboard, Broadway playwright Ken Ludwig tells the story of a Jewish elf, a mouse, and a little girl who join forces to save Christmas.

Evening performances will be family-friendly as well, and suitable for the non- believers-and-older crowd, with Every Christmas Story Ever Told (And Then Some!) by Michael Carleton, Jim FitzGerald and John K. Alvarez. The madcap comedy covers the usual holiday stories (such as Frosty, Rudolf, Charlie Brown, The Grinch, etc.) in very unusual ways.

The holiday shows will be presented for three weekends, Dec. 6 through Dec. 22, at the Two Muses Theatre space inside the West Bloomfield Barnes & Noble. Individual tickets range from $10 to $25 with savings for groups, seniors and students, along with a discounted family four pack for ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas.
