Oh, baby.Get ready to climb into that harness. This is going to be fun.

The Adventure Park at West Bloomfield – five acres of fun with a view from the top – is opening April 5, The Oakland Press reports.

Make that 100 views from the top. With more than 100 tree platforms on land leased from the Jewish Community Center, 6600 W. Maple Road, the park offers multiple vantage points for zip-lining and aerial rope climbing.

It’s the second such park in Michigan, the first in Frankenmuth,

The West Bloomfield park offers 10 different rope courses through the trees of varying challenge levels suitable for ages 5 through adulthood, according to the Adventure Park of West Bloomfield Facebook page.

The self-guided courses don’t require previous climbing experience. After receiving a safety briefing and harness, climbers select courses that fit their comfort level and then navigate the different “bridges” or “elements,” moving from platform to platform.

The climbers wear safety harnesses with a “double-clipped-on” technology to keep the them continuously connected to a safety cable as they make their way through the trees.
