DPTV Series on Aging Features West Bloomfield Business Owner

The Embrace of Aging features Eric Paskel of Yoga Shelter.

Eric Paskel of Yoga Shelter, a company founded in West Bloomfield, is featured in The Embrace of Aging, a seven-part Detroit Public Television (DPTV) series airing Sundays, 6:30 p.m., through Nov. 24.

Michigan Emmy award-winning director/producer Keith Famie's documentary series begins with "The Male Perspective of Growing Old", which follows the latest progressive teachings from well- known medical universities while showcasing the advice of health gurus, spiritual leaders, psychologists and men of all walks of life. Ken Dychtwald, Ph.D., author and founder of "Age Wave", John Gray, Ph.D., author of Men Are From Mars, Women Are From Venus, and radio personality Dick Purtan are featured

Paskel, MA, MFCC, is founder and chief guru of Yoga Shelter, a yoga company he created in 2004. With six studios in Michigan and California, and more opening across the country, Paskel travels the world teaching yoga classes, lectures, retreats, and trainings that rock and awaken.

“The Male Perspective of Growing Old series is sure to be ‘embraced’ by public television viewers, many of whom are well into their own aging process. The series is upbeat, full of good information and very positive,” said Jeff Forster, executive vice president of production for Detroit Public TV.
