Fuel Report: Gas Prices Fall to $3.56 a Gallon in West Bloomfield

It's Monday, and if you're looking to fill up the tank in the Greater West Bloomfield area, gas prices are looking friendlier by the day.

According to the AAA, the average price for a gallon of gas in Metro Detroit is $3.48 this morning, down from $3.74 a week ago.

Some of the lowest gas prices in and around southeastern Michigan can be found in Detroit, at $3.25 a gallon, and at the Costco in Madision Heights, where gas is $3,28 a gallon this morning. In and around the Greater West Bloomfield area Monday, the cheapest price is $3.56, found at the BP at Orchard Lake Road and Pontiac Trail.
