Fuel Report: Lowest West Bloomfield Gas Price Just Under $4

Gas prices — both regionally and locally — are going down, but that doesn't make gas in Metro Detroit cheap.

According to the AAA, the average price for a gallon of gas in Metro Detroit is $3.95 Monday, down more than a nickel from last week's average of $4.01.

Some of the lowest gas prices in and around southeastern Michigan can be found at the Mobil station n New Haven, where gas is $3.69 a gallon. Meanwhile, gas is $3.72 a gallon at the Firebird station at Ford Road and Wayne in Westland.

In West Bloomfield, the cheapest gas you're going to find is just south of $4, at $3.98 a gallon.
